Role Summary

The Supervisor will be a full-time, on-premise role based in Coimbatore overseeing daily construction and infrastructure operations. Key duties involve managing workers and subcontractors, ensuring activities are carried out safely and on time, and meeting project specifications and quality benchmarks. The Supervisor will monitor job progress, allocate tasks, inspect materials and tools, keep accurate site documentation, and report updates to project managers or senior staff. Additionally, this position enforces safety regulations, resolves routine site issues, facilitates clear communication among stakeholders, and supports company policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site work and coordinate labor and subcontractor efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and project timelines.
• Assign tasks and monitor workforce performance effectively.
• Review and verify availability and use of materials and equipment.
• Maintain site documentation including records, logs, and status reports.
• Communicate regularly with engineers, contractors, and management team.
• Resolve routine operational challenges to maintain smooth workflow.
• Support adherence to organizational procedures and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable ability in workforce supervision, task delegation, and performance tracking.
• Experience in project execution and site management with emphasis on scheduling and progress control.
• Good understanding of construction processes, materials, and familiarity with technical drawings or layouts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Problem-solving skills to manage onsite challenges and ensure workflow continuity.
• Proficient in administrative duties including maintaining daily logs and reports.
• Preferably experienced in on-site infrastructure or construction supervision roles.
• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management or related subjects favored; equivalent practical experience acceptable.
• Willingness to work on-site in Coimbatore full-time with schedule flexibility as required.
