About the Role
Join Waitrose & Partners as a Supermarket Assistant where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact the customer experience. You will deliver partner-led service infused with a passion for food that sets us apart from competitors, building trust and loyalty with our customers visit after visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Restock shelves to ensure availability and correct placement of products for customers.
- Prepare online shopping orders efficiently for home delivery drivers.
- Manage product quality by reducing waste through timely markdowns and adherence to sell-by dates.
- Collaborate with the shop team by supporting checkouts, Click & Collect service, and handling on-demand customer orders when needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment through general upkeep and shopkeeping duties.
Skills and Experience
Essential: Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer engagement.
Desirable: Previous customer-facing experience, an interest and knowledge of food and drink trends, and flexibility to support various branch functions.
