Job description
Job Purpose
The role involves designing and executing succession planning strategies for senior leadership positions within the stc Group, including chiefs, vice presidents, and general managers, in alignment with the Center of Excellence directives. Additionally, the incumbent will lead executive coaching initiatives for Level 2 and above leaders, focusing on critical roles. All duties must adhere to established business policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design and uphold the succession planning methodology, frameworks, governance, and related templates.
- Formulate and apply succession plans for chiefs, VPs, and GMs across the stc group following HR Center of Excellence strategies.
- Oversee succession planning for subsidiary CEOs and their immediate deputies (N-1), including annual quality audits.
- Create and manage Key Performance Indicator scorecards for the Group CEO and CXO positions to ensure alignment of succession and performance planning across stc units.
- Supervise succession plans for director level and below key roles developed by HR Business Partners and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with policies and frameworks.
- Coordinate annual leave scheduling for GM level and above to maintain proper succession readiness.
- Identify developmental needs for approved successors within the organization.
- Review and update National Recruiting Committee materials related to succession planning and secure necessary approvals.
- Present succession planning outcomes annually to the Executive Leadership Committee.
- Facilitate succession awareness training and knowledge sharing among relevant stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience, specifically within the telecom industry focusing on succession planning.
- Background in talent development, career progression, and learning & development initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Relevant certifications are considered an advantage.
