The company invests heavily in talent and emerging technologies to harness data's potential.

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Strategic Client Partner to oversee and enhance engagement with our critical Strategic Accounts within the growing Open Data Solutions segment in Australia and New Zealand. This position focuses on maximizing client value from our Open Banking and Transaction Enrichment and Categorisation products by cultivating trustworthy client relationships and uncovering new business opportunities that address evolving client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Strategic Accounts, spanning business, product, digital, data, and technology divisions.
  • Develop comprehensive insights into each client's strategy, priorities, challenges, and future goals.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and strategic client meetings to discuss solution adoption, value delivered, product innovations, and upcoming client opportunities.
  • Maintain continuous engagement between formal sessions to stay abreast of shifting client priorities and emerging requirements.
  • Acquire thorough knowledge of Experian's Open Data Solutions portfolio to assist clients in leveraging current and new product features for enhanced outcomes.
  • Identify and promote extended use cases, greater adoption, and innovative problem-solving opportunities for clients.
  • Initiate exploratory and discovery conversations to comprehend client issues, partner possibilities, and define actionable next steps.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Directors to advance growth opportunities, providing expert client insights and solution demonstrations while commercial negotiations remain with Directors.
  • Work with Product Owners to deliver client feedback into product development and ensure that the client voice is integral in roadmap planning.
  • Identify strategic clients for pilots, proofs of concept, product explorations, and early adoption programs.
  • Coordinate internally across Product, Delivery, Support, and other teams to remove adoption hurdles and offer seamless client experiences.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years' experience in senior client-facing roles such as Customer Success, Product Management, Strategic Account Management, or Solutions Consulting.
  • Proven track record of cultivating and managing enterprise-level client relationships involving senior stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation and leadership skills in directing client meetings, workshops, business reviews, or strategic discussions independently.
  • Deep knowledge of financial services, digital banking, data management, SaaS, or enterprise technology landscapes.
  • Preferred experience with transaction data, Open Banking, Consumer Data Right, or merchant data.
  • Comfortable operating at the nexus of client engagement, product development, and commercial strategy.
  • Effective discovery skills to identify core business challenges and link them to practical solutions.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.

Benefits and Perks

  • Access to Novated Leasing and Salary Packaging programs.
  • Competitive salary offering paired with bonus and commission plans.
  • Core benefits that include Experian share purchase discounts and wellness initiatives.
  • Hybrid work arrangements supporting flexibility.
  • Generous time off policies including volunteer days, personal leave, paid holidays, and family-friendly leave options.
  • Entitlement to 17 weeks paid parental leave, family care leave, and up to 5 days of study leave.
