Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue expansion by identifying, cultivating, and converting new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target sectors.
- Design and implement account growth strategies aligned with business goals and sales objectives.
- Pinpoint client needs and effectively position Experian’s solutions to deliver tangible business value.
- Enhance existing client partnerships through cross-selling and upselling across Experian’s offerings.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet short- and long-term revenue targets.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including proposal development and contract discussions, to close deals successfully.
- Discover new market segments, forge strategic alliances, and identify growth avenues compatible with Experian’s strengths.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong connections with key client stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ business strategies, challenges, and marketplace trends.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by spotting opportunities for Experian to support client growth and transformation.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure solutions are positioned and delivered effectively.
- Support client retention and business growth through proactive engagement and value creation.
Sales Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute sales plans aiming to meet both individual and team revenue goals.
- Manage pipeline, track opportunities, and accurately forecast using CRM platforms.
- Regularly report on sales progress, market changes, and emerging business prospects.
- Work jointly with Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Client Success teams to provide compelling solutions and achieve business objectives.
- Take responsibility for personal performance, set development targets, and engage in continuous learning.
- This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account growth roles.
- Solid knowledge of data, analytics, financial services, decisioning, or technology solutions.
- Track record of generating new business, deepening client relationships, and meeting revenue targets.
- Ability to identify client challenges and clearly communicate complex solutions emphasizing business value and commercial results.
