Join Our Defence Theatre Logistics Team

We are enhancing our Government and Defence services through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract. We invite dedicated professionals to join our Laverack facility team, ensuring Defence personnel receive critical equipment and supplies promptly and accurately. This role is integral to supporting Australia's Defence capabilities with a focus on precision and collaboration beyond conventional warehousing.

Your Role as a Storeperson

Reporting to the Operations Manager and partnering with Team Leaders, you will be central to site operations by ensuring the warehouse functions safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Defence standards. Responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching Defence items, operating forklifts and material handling machinery, utilizing warehouse management systems for accurate stock control, upholding safety and cleanliness standards, and collaborating to meet operational performance goals.

Candidate Profile

  • Preferably some warehousing or logistics experience, though not mandatory.
  • Current forklift license or readiness to obtain one.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
  • Good physical condition to safely handle manual tasks.
  • Strong focus on teamwork, effective communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Committed to maintaining a safety-first workplace.
  • Capable of managing time efficiently and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Capable of securing and holding a Baseline (or higher) Defence Security Clearance issued by AGSVA.
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment verifications including criminal record checks, medical assessments, and other background investigations.
