Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Coordinator to join our high-performing warehouse operations team in Auckland, New Zealand. This role focuses on ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining system integrity, and facilitating smooth daily operations within the distribution center. You will collaborate closely with operations teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to deliver excellent service and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and comprehensive inventory audits.
  • Maintain precise inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Investigate and address inventory discrepancies, damages, and variances promptly.
  • Oversee the accuracy of inbound shipments, put-away processes, and order picking.
  • Analyze inventory data to generate insights that support performance improvements.
  • Assist in daily reporting, reconciliation activities, and monitor workflow efficiency.
  • Establish and sustain strong partnerships with internal teams and customers.

Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in inventory control within warehouse or third-party logistics (3PL) settings.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems ensuring high levels of system accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills aimed at resolving inventory-related challenges.
  • Exceptional attention to detail focused on data accuracy and quality control.
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Possession of a valid LF/LO forklift license is mandatory.
