Store Supervisor

Position Overview

The Store Supervisor role at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts based in West Bay, Doha, involves managing inventory receipt, inspection, and organization with a focus on quality assurance and food safety compliance. This non-management position demands hands-on coordination with suppliers and team members to maintain optimal inventory levels and uphold company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries while verifying inventory accuracy and managing documentation.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and conduct inventory audits to assess stock levels and requirements.
• Inspect deliveries thoroughly for freshness, cleanliness, quality, and ensure rejection of damaged or incorrect items.
• Maintain adherence to food safety and handling protocols across all relevant areas.
• Monitor PAR levels for food products to sustain appropriate stock quantities and manage department paperwork diligently.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks, while organizing pallets until products are processed or stored.
• Support management through staff training, counseling, and motivation activities; provide guidance as a mentor and role model.
• Uphold quality standards by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and reporting safety issues promptly.
• Follow corporate policies on personal appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection.
• Maintain positive guest interactions and professional communication, including telephone etiquette.
• Perform physical tasks requiring movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating variable environments.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors to meet operational needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in a related operational or inventory role.
• A minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity overseeing staff.
• No specific licenses or certifications are mandated.
