Laundry Presser / Laundry Valet

About the Role

This position focuses on more than just cleaning and laundering; it aims to deliver an unforgettable experience to guests. As a Laundry Presser or Laundry Valet, you contribute to the overall guest satisfaction by ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of linens and garments meet the highest standards. This role involves moving throughout the laundry area and supporting hotel housekeeping functions to maintain the pristine presentation of guest spaces and linens.

Responsibilities

• Ensure precise pressing and finishing of laundry items, maintaining quality and appearance.
• Assist with guest requests pertaining to laundry and garment care.
• Stock and organize laundry carts and supplies efficiently.
• Support cleaning of public spaces and rooms related to laundry and linen upkeep.
• Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures diligently.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance and communication style reflective of the brand standards.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds independently.

• Ability to remain on feet and move around for extended periods as required.
• Capability to handle physical demands of the position, including lifting and moving objects safely.

• Experience or willingness to learn various housekeeping and laundry procedures.
