Role Overview
We seek a Store Supervisor for our new flagship location in London. The successful applicant will undergo initial on-the-job training at existing stores to gain familiarity with POP MART’s systems, standards, and culture before leading daily store operations. Working closely with the Floor Manager and leadership team, this role involves supervising sales teams, driving sales performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Floor Manager in managing day-to-day store functions and step in during their absence.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by promptly addressing queries and issues.
- Lead and mentor sales staff by monitoring adherence to company policies and promoting a positive team culture.
- Collaborate with leadership to meet sales targets and business objectives.
- Oversee stock levels, coordinate inventory corrections, and communicate with merchandising teams.
- Maintain high standards of store visual merchandising and presentation.
- Manage cashier operations including opening and closing protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings to communicate goals and updates effectively.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling and sales reporting.
- Be prepared to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum two years’ supervisory or managerial experience in a busy retail or customer service environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective customer resolution.
- Commercially astute with sound knowledge of retail operations and performance metrics.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in a dynamic setting.
- A passion for pop culture, collectibles, and delivering excellent customer experiences.
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Familiarity with CEGID point-of-sale systems.
- Experience within the toy or collectibles industry.
- Competency in visual merchandising techniques.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
