Role Overview
This permanent full-time Sales Associate position is based in Melbourne Central, tailored for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and thrive in dynamic, high-traffic retail settings. The opportunity offers a competitive annual salary of $61,000 plus superannuation and monthly performance incentives post-probation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver enthusiastic, knowledgeable customer service to boost sales and introduce new product lines.
- Maintain optimal store presentation through stock replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and prepared for customers at all times.
- Support operational tasks including transaction processing via POS, inventory management, stock checks, and adherence to loss prevention policies.
- Contribute to product launches and assist during peak sales periods.
Candidate Profile
- Confident communicator passionate about retail, pop culture, or collectibles.
- Ability to perform effectively under fast-paced, high-volume conditions.
- Dependable, positive attitude with attention to detail and quick learning aptitude.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Chinese is an advantage.
Work Schedule and Conditions
- Permanent full-time commitment with flexible availability across all seven days.
- Rosters typically include weekend and late shifts, generally operating from 10am to 9pm.
- Schedules usually follow either Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday with two consecutive days off.
