Store Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Stores & Warehouse Supervisor to manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and material management for oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have substantial expertise in managing IPS (Insulation, Painting & Scaffolding) materials, ensuring timely availability of project-related materials, and maintaining inventory accuracy while complying with company protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse and store functions including the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure correct material identification, tagging, binning, and storage aligned with company and project standards.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory at optimal levels to support project operations.
• Perform regular stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and annual inventory audits.
• Investigate discrepancies in inventory and take appropriate corrective measures.
• Manage and supervise control of IPS materials, including consumables, equipment, tools, and accessories.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of insulation materials, paints, coatings, scaffolding components, and related fittings.
• Track material usage against project budgets and approved take-offs.
• Coordinate with project teams to accurately forecast material needs to prevent shortages or surplus.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Project, Construction, QA/QC, and Logistics departments to facilitate material planning and movement.
• Ensure on-time receipt and issuance of materials to meet construction schedules.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as material receiving reports, issue vouchers, stock reports, and inventory records.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain accurate records.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in store or warehouse supervision within the oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing IPS materials for industrial shutdowns, maintenance, EPC, or construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of material control procedures, inventory management systems, warehouse operations, material preservation, stock auditing, and logistics coordination.
• Proficient with ERP tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and other inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working on GCC oil and gas projects is considered a plus.
