About the Role
The Lead Business Development professional will spearhead initiatives to grow business, secure new contracts, and enhance market share for the company’s Insulation, Painting, and Scaffolding (IPS) offerings. These services cater primarily to sectors including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Power, and other Industrial markets. The role encompasses strategic sales leadership, cultivating critical customer relationships, identifying project prospects, and managing the entire commercial process from lead generation through contract finalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth for valve testing and calibration, and target opportunities related to Insulation, Painting, and Scaffolding services within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, Offshore, and Industrial sectors.
- Utilize existing connections within Qatar’s industrial and oil & gas arenas to uncover sales possibilities.
- Engage in client consultations, conduct site assessments, and deliver technical presentations to advocate services.
- Comprehend client needs and offer tailored service solutions accordingly.
- Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline by networking, gathering market intelligence, and client interaction.
- Prepare and submit detailed quotations, technical proposals, tenders, vendor registrations, and prequalification approvals compliant with Qatar’s statutory and client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and administrative teams to guarantee prompt and quality service execution.
- Remain current with local market developments, competitor strategies, and regulatory policies.
- Manage contract negotiations, commercial terms, and service agreements with clients.
- Coordinate with estimation, operations, procurement, and finance departments to create competitive technical and commercial bids.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in a related technical and sales position, specifically within Qatar.
- Maintain a well-established professional network with key clients in Qatar's market.
- Exhibit strong communication, negotiation, project management, and presentation capabilities.
- Hold a valid Qatar driving license and possess a transferable visa.
