About the Role
As a Store Manager at Booker, you will leverage your expertise to support business expansion and help local enterprises flourish. This position allows you to showcase your leadership talents while fostering strong relationships with diverse businesses, including cafes, restaurants, caterers, corner shops, pubs, and newsagents. Booker operates specialized Business Centres focused on serving local B2C customers, creating a meaningful impact in the communities they serve through innovative customer relationships and services.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your enthusiasm for the business will inspire team members to perform excellently. You will oversee store management, support your managers, boost sales, and take full accountability for store operations, both successes and challenges. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal standards is your priority. Beyond compliance, you will proactively enhance customer satisfaction by anticipating and responding to client needs to drive profitable growth for your store.
Required Experience and Skills
Success requires previous food sector experience and the ability to build rapport with customers. Strong managerial capabilities are essential to guide and develop your teams. You must be detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently, adaptable to a dynamic retail setting that also includes online and delivery services. A committed passion for your store's success is paramount.
