Job description

Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily retail activities ensuring alignment with company policies and standards. This role includes managing merchandising, recruitment, employee training, scheduling, and inventory control to maintain smooth store operations.

Primary Duties

  • Supervise and manage the store's operations ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to meet organizational goals effectively.
  • Participate in merchandising, stocking, and unpacking shipments daily.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and adeptly handle complex customer issues.
  • Upkeep of visual merchandising quality and store presentation.
  • Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Manage cash handling along with store opening and closing duties.
  • Provide performance evaluations and distribute tasks among team members.
  • Oversee recruitment and employee performance management processes.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in retail and team management roles.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
