About the Role
Kilkenny Design is seeking a committed Store Manager for their Galway City location. This permanent role requires managing a 40-hour workweek with scheduled shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Role Overview and Responsibilities
This position involves leading a team to foster a service-oriented culture and consistently achieve outstanding performance. The Store Manager will oversee all store operations, including logistics, administration, stock control, customer service, and cash handling.
The five main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring stellar 5-star customer service
- Leading, motivating, and empowering store staff
- Driving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments
- Maintaining high operational standards and promoting the brand effectively
- Training and developing staff on customer experience, product knowledge, and brand awareness
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is passionate, energetic, genuine, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced retail setting. Strong leadership and people management skills are required to successfully guide the team and meet sales objectives. A sound understanding of business management and commercial awareness is also essential.
