Stockroom Assistant

Role Overview

The Stockroom Assistant at Kilkenny Design in Pavillions Shopping Centre, Swords, holds a vital position supporting the store's operational success. In this full-time permanent role, you will be the backbone of stock management, ensuring smooth transfer of inventory to the sales floor while upholding the brand’s reputation through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to foster strong customer relationships.
• Oversee all stock movements coming from suppliers and inter-store transfers.
• Address and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Accurately record all inventory movements received and dispatched.
• Process and investigate claims regarding faulty goods, delayed deliveries, and short shipments.
• Collaborate with management to finalize all credit-related paperwork accurately.
• Keep the stockroom tidy, organized, and accessible at all times.
• Enforce health and safety standards consistently.
• Ensure the accuracy of SKU data by confirming all barcode information aligns with system records.
• Apply barcodes to stock items when necessary.
