Store Manager

Role Overview

The position is a full-time Store Manager role employed by Swiggy, responsible for overseeing overall store functionality and operations.

Store & Inventory Management

• Maintain the store in excellent condition, ensuring compliance with the defined purpose and standards.
• Supervise critical in-store functions including billing, stock inwarding and placement, picking and packing for deliveries, and waste management.
• Take charge of managing inventory and controlling wastage effectively.
• Ensure the safety and security of stock, infrastructure, property, and premises, preventing theft or fraud related to orders and inventory.

Team & Staff Management

• Lead and manage a store team of approximately 8 to 12 employees.
• Organize rostering and shift scheduling for store personnel, security, and maintenance staff.
• Focus on staff retention, offer training, and uphold hygiene standards within the team.

Operations & Performance Metrics

• Monitor critical operation metrics such as total orders delivered, arrival-to-pickup time, and stock availability.
• Ensure compliance with service standards including timelines for picking to packing, billing, and order to billing processes on a daily basis.

Skills & Qualifications

• Possess expertise in retail store operations management.
• Demonstrated ability to use required software tools for inward stock processing, billing, and generating operational reports.
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Capable of effective problem-solving and managing high workload efficiently.
