Job description
Role Overview
Join Toolstation as a Store Manager at our Newcastle Denton branch, working 40 hours per week. You will oversee all aspects of branch operations, ensuring excellent customer service while actively supporting your team with daily tasks such as deliveries, stocking, and maintaining branch standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an outstanding customer experience by leading your team to deliver exceptional service and sales.
- Engage directly in operational duties including checking deliveries, stocking shelves, opening and closing the store, and cleaning to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Motivate and inspire a positive culture built on feedback, praise, and recognition to encourage team engagement and high performance.
- Build strong relationships and support team development to nurture future leaders and promote business growth.
- Lead by example, coaching and engaging your team to create a productive and enjoyable workplace.
- Ensure high product availability and maintain excellent branch standards to make your store a great place to work and shop.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience of successfully developing and managing high-performing retail teams.
- Dedication and passion for leadership and achieving sales results through outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to actively participate in daily store activities and foster teamwork.
- A customer-focused approach, ensuring client needs are prioritized.
- Resilience and determination to overcome challenges while coaching the team to succeed.

Working Hours and Environment
- Your role will involve early starts and late finishes as store hours are 7 AM to 8 PM.
