Job description

Role Overview

As a Retail Supervisor at our Dumbarton store, you will work approximately 35 hours weekly, managing shifts between 7 AM and 8 PM. This role offers more than typical retail duties; you will be a key figure representing the company, creating positive first impressions, fostering strong customer relationships, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Duties

  • Assist and support the Store Manager, including covering for them when needed, motivate and engage the team, and coach sales growth.
  • Handle operational tasks such as receiving and unpacking deliveries, picking stock from the warehouse, shelving products, and maintaining store cleanliness.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service personally and guide the team to do likewise, maintaining a friendly and efficient environment regardless of workload.
  • Engage customers by asking questions to ensure they leave with appropriate products and service.
  • Create and maintain a positive work atmosphere that fosters team spirit, product availability, and high store standards.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and enthusiasm; retail experience is not mandatory as full training will be provided.
