Role Overview
The Store Manager role, reporting directly to the Zonal Own Retail Manager at the executive level, is responsible for leading store operations ensuring compliance with company standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strict adherence to store operational SOPs to ensure seamless functioning.
- Uphold store appearance in alignment with established guidelines and standards for visual merchandising.
- Supervise efficient cash handling processes, prevent theft, and maintain safety and security measures.
- Manage inventory meticulously to avoid stock shortages or excessive inventory accumulation.
- Produce timely and accurate KPI reports as required.
- Prepare stores for formal launch by coordinating manpower, furniture, IT, and device inventory as per procedures.
- Oversee closures during store refits and conversions efficiently.
- Drive sales growth by converting walk-in customers through new acquisitions and upselling strategies.
- Monitor and control store expenses to align with planned budgets and provide feedback for productivity enhancements.
- Manage daily scheduling and briefing of outsourced store staff to ensure smooth operation.
- Address attrition issues proactively by escalating problems to ensure timely resolution.
- Foster motivation and professional development among outsourced personnel.
- Guarantee compliance with customer experience (CE) guidelines and allocate staff based on real-time demand.
- Directly engage with challenging customers to resolve issues effectively.
