Job description

This role involves delivering efficient and polite customer service while restocking shelves and keeping aisles tidy in a store environment.

Provide prompt and friendly service to customers.
Unload boxes from pallets, unpack, and place items on shelves.
Rotate stock to avoid product expiration on shelves.
Arrange and front-face products neatly.
Conduct necessary inspections to comply with HACCP food safety standards.
Regularly check inventory to manage product rotation, preventing loss or spoilage.
Verify shelf pricing accuracy reflecting current prices and market conditions.
Maintain cleanliness of the aisle through scheduled cleaning, including scrubbing and organizing under pallets.
Continuously inspect floor areas to identify and remedy safety hazards, promptly clean spills, and remove any debris such as plastic wrap, ties, wood pieces, and dispose of them properly.
Notify supervisors immediately about low or out-of-stock items.
Perform additional tasks as assigned, including potential work in other departments.

Good communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
Basic reading and arithmetic abilities.
Strong dedication to company values and excellent customer service mindset.

Must wear steel-toe boots at all times.
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and overhead, including repetitive lifting over 12 times per hour.
Ability to push or pull loads up to 500 lbs horizontally.
High levels of agility, dynamic and manual dexterity (80-100%).
Posture requirements include constant standing/walking, frequent bending/stooping, occasional climbing ladders or steps, and kneeling/squatting.

Temperature conditions mainly moderate but include refrigerated and freezer areas, with some exposure to varying outdoor temperatures near open doors.
Working around moving equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and scooters.
