Position Overview
The Stock Coordinator is tasked with handling goods reception, inspection, storage, and distribution within the store environment to maintain efficient stock management and product availability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Physically and electronically verify incoming merchandise to ensure accurate records.
- Assess product quality; communicate any damage or issues to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Organize and store items in the stockroom following store protocols to enable quick product access.
- Apply tags to new stock or arrange returns as directed by supervisors.
- Support sales teams by replenishing shelf stock to guarantee continuous product availability.
- Maintain constant awareness of store security to prevent negligence.
- Uphold excellent cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the store.
- Be willing to work additional hours during sales or festive events.
- Exhibit physical fitness capable of managing heavy lifting, including weights of at least 10kg.
- Document stock inflows and outflows accurately and keep updated reports.
- Identify and report items missing price tags promptly.
- Participate actively in stock-taking activities.
