As a Steward, you will assist the Stewarding Supervisor and restaurant teams by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the Food and Beverage outlets. This role demands physical stamina and attention to detail to ensure all service ware is properly cleaned and polished for guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort soiled dishware promptly and accurately for appropriate cleaning processes.
• Hand-wash dishes and utensils when necessary, returning them to designated storage swiftly.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of dish machines, including refilling water as per hotel standards.
• Operate burnishing machines to polish silverware and de-tarnish items for optimal appearance.
• Ensure cooking equipment like kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans are cleaned without delay, supporting kitchen operations.
• Adhere to attendance policies and maintain dependable work availability.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity with service ware maintenance practices to enhance guest experience.
• Ability to maneuver service carts weighing up to 150 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
• Capability to move heavy items (up to 200 pounds) through busy environments safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with adaptability to interact effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
