Job Overview

The role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in guest rooms and public areas to ensure an excellent visit for guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean bathroom fixtures and surfaces including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
• Follow prescribed cleaning protocols and properly handle cleaning chemicals.
• Change bed linens and make beds, handling bedspreads weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture and fixtures such as pictures, drawers, and shelves meticulously.
• Vacuum rooms completely and manage trash disposal.
• Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies consistently.
• Manage room keys, deliver keys to assigned rooms, restock supply carts, and visually inspect rooms for cleanliness before marking completion.
• Adhere to attendance policies and maintain consistent availability for scheduled shifts.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Physical capability to perform scrubbing and overhead cleaning tasks and work within confined spaces.
• Willingness to assist coworkers and work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment, accommodating reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to push or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills allowing adaptation to various audiences including supervisors, colleagues, and the public.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $25.00 to $26.00. This position is not eligible for tips, service charge, or discretionary performance bonuses.
