Job Overview

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel to ensure a positive environment for guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents, and floors thoroughly using appropriate cleaning agents, including reaching overhead areas.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and shelves, performing movements such as bending and stooping as required.
• Polish and clean metal surfaces using repeated pressure.
• Empty trash receptacles and clean ashtrays regularly.
• Adhere to attendance policies and maintain availability for scheduled work.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned by management.

Candidate Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with prior hotel industry experience.
• Self-motivated with a calm and steady temperament.
• Consistently maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Effective communication skills with guests and colleagues.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended durations, and able to push or pull heavy equipment with or without accommodations.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently under limited supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences including supervisors, team members, and the public.

Compensation Details

The hourly wage for this position is set at $25.00. This role is not eligible for tips or discretionary performance bonuses.
