Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage of $25.95, without eligibility for tips or discretionary performance bonuses.
Role Overview
As a Room Attendant, you will be essential in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout guest rooms and hotel areas, delivering a welcoming and safe atmosphere for guests, staff, and vendors. Your responsibilities extend beyond cleaning to creating a comfortable setting that reflects the high-quality hospitality experience we strive to provide.
Key Duties
- Thoroughly clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and products.
- Follow prescribed cleaning methods, safety guidelines, and proper handling of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Change linens, make beds, and ensure room presentation meets hotel standards.
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, storage units, windows, and all surfaces within guest rooms.
- Vacuum assigned areas including guest rooms and corridors; remove waste material promptly.
- Restock guest amenities, towels, linens, and other supplies according to set standards.
- Inspect rooms visually for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and readiness before signaling availability.
- Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and workspaces neat and organized.
- Report any maintenance or operational concerns to supervisory staff quickly.
- Assist team members and contribute to departmental objectives collaboratively.
- Maintain high productivity and focus while handling daily room assignments.
- Adhere to attendance policies and remain flexible with schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.

Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning preferred.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to scrub surfaces, reach overhead, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces, with or without accommodation.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety practices preferred.
- Ability to push or pull carts and equipment up to 100 lbs., and transport supplies during shifts, accommodating disabilities if necessary.
- Willingness to support colleagues and foster a positive team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, adapting interactions for various audiences including guests and supervisors.
