Role Overview and Responsibilities

The TeamViewer ONE platform proactively detects and resolves IT problems before impacting users. Our goal is to evolve into a unified endpoint management solution trusted particularly by small and medium businesses. We are seeking an experienced Staff or Senior Software Engineer to enhance and maintain TeamViewer ONE and Remote Management features.

• Develop and maintain services within TeamViewer ONE and Remote Management solutions to bolster client security
• Architect, design, and implement new functionalities using C++
• Collaborate with front-end, back-end, and QA teams to craft optimal software balancing performance, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability
• Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines from testing through production
• Contribute to client applications, backend services, and partner API development
• Design and implement common APIs following established architectural guidelines
• Build and optimize high availability, cost-efficient database systems
• Enhance software through advanced algorithms and contemporary development tools
• Independently deliver solutions meeting time and quality standards
• Ensure software security, scalability, stability, and efficiency
• Keep abreast of latest technologies and recommend improvements
• Mentor and support team members in engineering best practices
• Advise product owners through feasibility studies and time estimations for new features
• Engage with customers to analyze and resolve product issues and during major implementation phases

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent relevant experience
• Over 10 years of professional software development experience
• Expertise in C++ and SQL is required
• Strong emphasis on scalable and high-performance software capable of handling increasing workloads efficiently
• Proficient knowledge of encryption and security principles
• Experience with networking technologies and related protocols
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Argo CD, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is advantageous
• Track record in architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems and integrated applications
• Well-versed in Clean Code principles and object-oriented design patterns
• Exposure to AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is a plus
• Knowledge of Typescript, React, and C# is highly desirable
• Understanding of end-user computing, log analytics, anomaly detection, and correlation is a benefit
• Possesses a positive, solution-focused mindset, analytical and structured work approach, teamwork skills, and eagerness to learn
• Fluent in English communication
