Staff Technical Program Manager

Role Overview

MongoDB seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager to collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Product Design, Marketing, and Analytics teams in delivering critical Observability features and platform capabilities. This role holds ownership of a major program during the fiscal year and involves executive-level communications regarding program progress.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 10 years' experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs within engineering organizations.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, particularly with cloud storage and computing products.
• Experience working with Service Oriented Architecture and cloud infrastructure systems.
• Strong ability to influence technical discussions, synthesizing outcomes and defining next steps.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse engineering and stakeholder groups.
• Impeccable organizational skills to coordinate multiple independent projects and teams simultaneously.
• A proven model of effective execution based on prioritization and urgency.
• Capability to leverage program delivery experience to enhance tools, operations, and system architecture.
• Proficient with project management software such as Jira, Rally, or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with MongoDB technology or equivalent platforms.
• Interest or experience in automating business processes through scripting languages like Python, Google Apps Script, and Slack automation.
