Team Overview

Our Intelligent Tooling team is central to our transition to becoming an AI-first company. This newly formed team is tasked with developing foundational technologies, operating models, and platforms that embed AI into our coding tools, internal systems, and software development lifecycle, empowering engineers to automate routine tasks and increase innovation time.

Role Description

As a Staff Software Engineer on this team, you will create and manage internal systems impacting engineering workflows across the company. You will have considerable ownership and responsibility to ensure adoption, reliability, and improved developer experiences by delivering AI-powered tooling and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal tools and services utilized by engineers.
• Incorporate AI-driven workflows into core engineering processes.
• Enhance the stability, usability, and efficiency of existing platforms.
• Manage systems end-to-end, including production support and iterative enhancements.
• Collaborate across teams to implement high-impact, practical solutions.
• Lead technical strategy for significant segments of the Intelligent Tooling ecosystem and mentor engineering peers.

Required Qualifications

• Over 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Background in developer tooling, internal platform development, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with AI system development, automation, or autonomous workflows.
• Practical knowledge using AI-powered developer tools.
• Strong analytical and collaborative capabilities.
• Proven history of guiding technical direction and providing leadership through influence.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, or monitoring tools.
• Enthusiasm for harnessing AI to significantly boost developer productivity and software delivery speed.
