Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and proactive Senior Security Architect to join Kraken Security Labs — a small, highly specialized internal security consulting team that collaborates closely with engineering teams across the company. The team engages hands-on in a wide range of projects, including infrastructure security, cryptography, web3 technologies, Rust-based projects, and securing upcoming AI products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review secure architectural solutions in heterogeneous technical environments.
• Perform comprehensive security assessments and audits on existing system architectures, providing actionable improvement recommendations.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, threats, and mitigation strategies in blockchain and related security areas.
• Offer specialized security expertise to internal blockchain teams to ensure best operational security practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience as an IT security expert, particularly in application security.
• Proven track record in security testing across varied application environments.
• Experience securing infrastructure components.
• Fundamental knowledge of security frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities suited for fast-moving settings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with distributed stakeholders in a remote work context.
