Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assess IT systems for security risks, evaluating compliance, and advising on risk mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to integrate security requirements throughout project lifecycles.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into precise architectural security specifications.
• Apply industry standards to evaluate security risks and develop future-ready solutions.
• Maintain and define enterprise and application security standards for live systems.
• Support IT Risk Management activities by identifying and assessing security risks.
• Evaluate potential technologies for integration in secure IT solutions.
• Prepare business cases and proposals to enhance IT architecture.
• Engage in discovery and documentation of requirements to ensure alignment with feasible solution designs.
• Assist in incident management and technical troubleshooting as necessary.
• Set minimum security baselines and enforce controls specifically for cloud technologies.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in IT Security Architecture or related fields.
• Proven track record deploying cybersecurity frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
• Demonstrated expertise designing complex multi-component IT Security architectures.
• Experienced in producing conceptual, logical, and physical security architecture documentation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are highly desirable.
• Deep experience with cloud-native architectures and services, especially AWS and Azure, including secure integration with external and on-premise environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT security's role within IT risk management and control frameworks.
• Knowledgeable about integrating IT security practices within application development and software engineering on multi-project environments.
• Ability to stay current with evolving security technologies and adapt quickly to changing IT landscapes.
• Skillful in evaluating alternative solutions, recommending informed decisions to reduce organizational risk.
