About the Role
Join NXP Semiconductors' Competence Center for Crypto & Security to pioneer security innovations influencing global technologies. This role focuses on devising secure architectures across NXP's extensive product range, addressing complex security challenges with an end-to-end perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive security assessments for NXP's solutions emphasizing feature integration, interactions, and interfaces across products.
- Convert regulatory and certification mandates into robust and forward-looking security architectures.
- Assess security mechanism trade-offs regarding costs and benefits, clearly communicating architectural decisions with customer focus.
- Examine combinations of various NXP technologies to craft secure, cohesive solutions.
- Monitor emerging industry trends such as AI/ML, evaluating their impact and security implications within semiconductor security.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in designing or developing secure systems, preferably embedded systems or comprehensive solutions.
- Exposure to product development for robotics, e-mobility, home/building automation, or healthcare is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of embedded software design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying complex architecture concepts across technical and non-technical audiences.
