The Data Center and Energy division is searching for a Staff Design Verification Engineer to join their dynamic multidisciplinary team. This position involves contributing to design verification efforts for cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal products. Collaboration with both internal technology departments and external vendors will be essential to refine and uphold top-tier development practices within the team.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in pre-silicon verification of innovative mixed-signal products alongside design and verification engineers.
- Serve as a bridge between verification processes and post-silicon validation activities.
- Ensure comprehensive verification coverage by implementing DMS, AMS, top-level, IP-level, and formal analysis techniques.
- Drive continuous enhancements in verification methodologies, flows, and modeling approaches employed by the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electronics engineering or an equivalent field with 7 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience performing comprehensive chip-level design verification of mixed-signal devices.
- Proficiency in IC top-level DMS SV/UVM verification, object-oriented and randomized verification strategies, and gate-level simulation.
- Skilled in metric-driven top-level analog mixed-signal (AMS) simulations.
- Competence in modeling and validating analog blocks using RNM and Verilog-AMS.
- Strong familiarity with Cadence tools such as Xcelium, IMC, and Virtuoso.
- Experience with verification planning tools like ePlanner and vManager, along with scripting in Shell, TCL, Perl, and Python.
- Understanding of FPGA prototyping and toolsets, including supporting script development and pre-silicon validation processes.
- Ability to manage designs with multiple clock and power domains.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with a global team.
