Position Overview
The Lead Designer, Layout within the Advanced Converters Group is a senior technical role focused on tackling the most challenging integrated circuit (IC) layout problems. This role requires deep expertise and innovative thinking to develop effective layout solutions, while serving as a key technical leader influencing significant business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative solutions for complex layout challenges requiring specialized knowledge and thorough analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and serve as the primary resource for junior engineers.
- Lead teams and manage intricate projects with considerable business impact.
- Collaborate across departments to promote technical excellence.
- Direct complex IC layout assignments and mentor less experienced staff.
- Make critical decisions on IC architecture design shaping product development.
- Conduct advanced process evaluations and optimize designs.
- Establish and refine layout methodologies and best practices to boost team efficiency and outcomes.

Preferred Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience, with more than seven years of relevant industry experience.
