Role Overview

As a member of the Ecommerce Engineering team, your role is to build scalable and extensible backend architectures that support rapid business growth while ensuring exceptional service reliability. Your focus will be on creating high-performance, resilient backend services capable of handling heavy customer traffic, alongside stable and fault-tolerant systems that secure customer satisfaction. The vision is to develop disruptive products and robust platforms that set new industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a practical technical leader specializing in security systems architecture with expertise in distributed systems and open-source tools.
• Design and enhance scalable, secure, and highly available systems, particularly security and risk control modules such as traffic risk platforms and fraud detection mechanisms.
• Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to deeply analyze operational challenges, propose technical solutions, and successfully drive critical projects to completion.
• Lead architecture evaluations and promote engineering best practices to maintain system robustness and security, especially under conditions of high concurrency.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to develop platform-wide security features and improve the enterprise’s risk detection and prevention capabilities.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills, especially in English reading and writing.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for engineering excellence and high technical standards in security architecture.
• At least five years’ experience in software design and development, with proven success building large-scale enterprise systems.
• In-depth understanding of distributed systems and practical experience developing solutions for traffic risk control, transaction fraud detection, or account security is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment, managing projects efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
