About the Role
This position is designed for new graduates or early career Speech Pathologists based in our Westminster clinic, Western Australia. It combines clinic-based and community outreach work, serving children and adults across the NDIS and broader community sectors. The role focuses on building communication, swallowing, social interaction, and practical life skills that profoundly impact clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments addressing communication, language, speech, and swallowing concerns.
- Create customized, evidence-supported therapy plans aligned with client goals.
- Provide engaging therapy sessions in clinic settings, clients' homes, and community environments.
- Offer education, coaching, and practical guidance to clients, families, carers, and support networks.
- Collaborate effectively with Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals.
- Manage a diverse caseload spanning pediatric to adult clients, with opportunities to specialize according to interests.
- Participate in ongoing mentoring, clinical supervision, and structured professional development programs.
- Contribute positively to a workplace culture centered on innovation, collaboration, and continual learning.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Valid Australian driver’s license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Working with Children Check or willingness to procure.
