Overview
Careernet, an Indian and global engineering and manufacturing organization based in Chennai, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive solutions utilizing Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Microservices to meet business needs.
- Define and standardize interaction patterns among applications across multiple platforms.
- Set architectural standards focused on event-driven systems and API-first development approaches.
- Develop detailed target-state architecture blueprints and technology roadmaps to guide future development.
- Lead architectural reviews and conduct design assurance to ensure quality and compliance.
Required Experience and Skills
- A solid background with 10 to 15 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven expertise in Solution Architecture within enterprise-grade environments.
- Advanced understanding and practical experience in Event-Driven Architecture and distributed system design.
- Strong proficiency with the Apache Kafka ecosystem.
- Extensive experience in Java development, specifically with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with SQL database management.
- Experience working with major cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Educational Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory for this position.
