Job Overview

We seek a Field Operations Tester to confirm that Skoot's technology functions flawlessly. This role requires using the app and platform like end users—customers, riders, and operations teams—to validate journeys, detect problems, collect proof, and ensure new versions are fully prepared.

Key Responsibilities

• Test various journeys on the platform and app for customers, riders, and operational personnel.
• Validate new releases of the app and platform to confirm readiness.
• Identify, document, and confirm issues and their resolutions.
• Gather supporting evidence for investigations.
• Offer feedback on usability, performance, and user experience improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience testing live software platforms.
• Background or experience in clean energy, electric mobility, or asset finance sectors.
• Experience testing applications utilized by field teams, especially those linked to physical assets such as vehicles, batteries, or tracking devices.
• Firsthand understanding of M-PESA-enabled platforms.
• Legal authorization to work in Kenya and availability to operate in Nairobi.
