Role Overview
Join TikTok's Engineering Test Team, dedicated to ensuring TikTok's products are secure, reliable, and of top quality on a global scale. Collaborate closely with software, algorithm engineers, and product teams to accelerate feature rollouts while upholding rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-driven testing solutions to enhance software quality and efficiency throughout development cycles.
- Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for initiatives such as risk analysis, automated testing, quality evaluation, and security testing.
- Identify pain points related to quality and engineering efficiency by partnering with engineering teams; propose and execute actionable solutions to elevate product standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging advancements in LLMs and AI-generated content (AIGC) technologies to innovate and refine quality assurance methods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related technical fields.
- Experience in software quality assurance or testing, particularly within mobile apps, backend services, or distributed systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and QA best practices spanning the software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and foundational expertise in iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Experience in one or more domains: automation testing, performance testing, or developing test tools/platforms.
- Keen interest and knowledge in Generative AI and LLMs, including their capabilities and practical application contexts.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills with effectiveness in cross-functional, global teamwork.
- Motivation to build exceptional products through AI-powered end-to-end quality assurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Objective-C.
- Background in developing test automation frameworks or engineering productivity tools.
- Experience with distributed infrastructure and cloud-native technologies like Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Hive, Spark, NSQ, or ZeroMQ.
- Practical engagement in AI projects including LLM applications, AI agent evaluation, model testing, or AI-assisted testing frameworks.
- Utilizing AI tools (LLMs, coding assistants, or AI agents) to optimize testing efficiency, automate test generation, bug analysis, or quality workflows.
