About TikTok LIVE Revenue Engineering

The TikTok Live revenue engineering team develops the leading-edge revenue system, incorporating gifting and other innovative revenue functionalities that prioritize security and user-friendliness. As a vital part of this engineer team, you will create solutions impacting millions of users and broadcasters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and full-cycle development of core business components, applying full-stack expertise to build stable, scalable solutions with top-tier user experiences.
• Drive front-end technology choices, enhance architecture, improve code quality and system efficiency, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Support full-stack troubleshooting including front-end, back-end, database, and cloud-native/microservices technologies; innovate to solve technical problems.
• Oversee agile development progress; develop and refine engineering toolchains and CI/CD workflows to boost delivery efficiency.
• Perform post-project evaluations, document learnings, bridge knowledge gaps, track emerging technologies, participate in open-source communities, and promote team innovation.

Qualifications

• Expertise in agile methodologies, engineering toolchains, system building and optimization, performance tuning, CI/CD, and debugging.
• Strong skills and experience in front-end development and front-end performance enhancement.
• Preferred: Over 5 years developing frontend web applications with solid full-stack capabilities including back-end, database optimization, API development, cloud-native and microservices systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning and technical improvements through project reflections and continuous knowledge sharing.
• Passion for advanced technology practices, problem-solving for optimal solutions, and contribution to open-source innovation.
