Software Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Test Engineer to become an integral member of our QA team. This position focuses on designing, carrying out, and overseeing testing activities for enterprise-level software solutions, emphasizing quality, functional accuracy, and punctual delivery of both web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing across various testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, API, database, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios derived from business and technical requirements to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Execute and document test cases, report bugs, and track defect resolution utilizing platforms such as JIRA.
• Engage in requirement analysis, test design, and execution to guarantee timely completion of testing cycles with attention to quality.
• Follow up on reported defects, collaborate with stakeholders, and re-test resolved issues to validate fixes.
• Examine current functionalities to identify opportunities for modification and enhancement.
• Participate in defect review meetings and escalate critical issues impacting timelines, product quality, or delivery commitments.
• Maintain detailed testing documentation and effectively communicate testing progress, risks, and findings.
