About the Role
A prestigious FinTech company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in C++ to tackle challenging technical problems and create ultra-efficient applications. This position is based in Singapore and offers hybrid work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and fine-tune infrastructure systems that can handle processing billions of data points per second.
- Develop low-level, latency-sensitive systems using modern C++ techniques focused on high performance.
- Participate in the design and creation of a proprietary high-performance database from inception.
- Engage in research-oriented projects featuring functional programming paradigms and technologies including Rust, Erlang, and in-house languages inspired by OCaml.
- Improve infrastructure that underlies machine learning pipelines and facilitates advanced research deployment.
Candidate Profile
- Proven, professional experience with contemporary C++ development.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related technical area.
- Track record of developing software solutions where performance, scalability, and reliability are essential to business success.
Compensation & Location
The role offers a competitive salary up to SGD 200,000 base plus performance-based bonuses. The position is located in Singapore with hybrid on-site and remote working options.
