Role Overview

The Software Engineer will partner with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to build and enhance Lumi’s proprietary lending and customer service platforms. Responsibilities include designing robust technical solutions predominantly using TypeScript and React, conducting code reviews, and actively participating in agile development rituals. The role also involves advancing the platform’s scalability and performance and exploring AI technologies to improve outcomes for customers and team productivity.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in application development with TypeScript and React.
• Solid background in full stack software engineering and working with distributed microservices architectures.
• Strong commitment to engineering discipline including unit/integration testing, rigorous code reviews, and security/reliability best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, able to evaluate multiple options and balance trade-offs against business requirements.
• A proactive ownership mentality, taking responsibility through all stages of development and production support.
• Experience with or enthusiasm for leveraging generative AI tools effectively as part of software development.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for knowledge sharing and teamwork.
