Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including product management, design, operations, and infrastructure to craft pioneering application experiences.
• Create bespoke user interfaces utilizing advanced programming technologies.
• Analyze and refine code to ensure high quality, efficiency, and optimal performance; actively participate in peer code reviews providing constructive feedback.
• Lead team directions and objectives, oversee significant initiatives, mentor colleagues, and assist in onboarding new members.
• Design robust, scalable system architectures supporting complex applications.
• Diagnose and address performance and scalability challenges, driving efforts to minimize technical debt.
• Work with a variety of programming languages and technologies as required.
• Take ownership of specific components, features, or systems with a comprehensive understanding from end to end.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 8 years of programming experience in relevant languages.
• More than 6 years of experience building large-scale applications or equivalent.
• Proven track record in successfully leading major projects and teams.
• Experience delivering high-quality software with strong reliability standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
• Experience enhancing code quality through comprehensive code reviews, thorough testing, monitored rollouts, and proactive improvements.
• Skilled in using data-driven analysis to diagnose technical challenges and recommend solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with programming languages including C, C++, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Experience integrating AI tools to streamline workflows and deliver measurable benefits like efficiency and quality improvements.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices including risk evaluation, bias mitigation, and rigorous quality assurance.
• Ongoing development in AI-related skills such as prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration, keeping abreast of emerging AI advancements.
