Software Engineer

Overview

This role involves analyzing both business and technical requirements and translating them into clear software specifications and design documentation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software applications including web-based systems, APIs, and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented source code.
• Upgrade existing software to enhance functionality, performance, security, and user experience.
• Design system architectures, data models, and technical frameworks supporting the software solutions.
• Conduct multiple levels of testing: unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Identify and fix software defects, bugs, and issues impacting performance.
• Coordinate software deployment through development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide ongoing software system maintenance and technical support by implementing enhancements and upgrades.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, solution architects, developers, testers, and users throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, test plans, release notes, and operational manuals.
• Follow organizational standards, comply with security requirements, and uphold industry best practices in software development.
• Participate in code and peer reviews as well as initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance business processes and system capabilities.
• Support integration efforts with internal and external systems, databases, and third-party services.
