About the Company and Role

Join a rapidly growing AI-native financial technology platform based in Auckland, New Zealand, focused on replacing outdated legacy software with cutting-edge solutions. Having recently secured Series A funding, the company is expanding globally and looking for talented and driven individuals to join its engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Go (Golang) that handle Protobuf messages communicated via gRPC and exposed through a GraphQL gateway.
• Work extensively with AWS cloud infrastructure including services such as Fargate, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Lambda, and S3.
• Collaborate on DevOps tasks using tools like Datadog, GitHub, Terraform, and Docker, maintaining containerized services.
• Contribute to projects such as enhancing AI agent functionalities, launching the platform into new international markets with tailored features, and building distribution infrastructure responsible for managing billions in transactional volume.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience programming in Go (Golang).
• Strong preferences and experience working with agentic coding workflows, development tools, and relevant models.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in New Zealand is required.
