Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding multi-product SaaS company as a Mid-level Software Engineer specializing in Python and AI/ML within the Data & AI Engineering team based in Dubai. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to advance AI initiatives from experimental stages to robust production systems, enhancing functionalities such as recommendations, fraud detection, personalization, and next-generation AI products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production-quality Python applications including backend services, APIs, event-driven processing pipelines, and asynchronous workers.
• Influence architectural design and the technical roadmap within the AI/ML Engineering squad.
• Transition machine learning models and data science prototypes into scalable production environments.
• Utilize technologies like Kafka for messaging, Redis for caching, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Science, and Engineering to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering peers and actively participate in technical discussions and strategic decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 3 to 5 years of backend software engineering experience, with a strong focus on writing scalable Python services.
• Hands-on experience working with Redis, Kafka, and relational databases.
• Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Capability to contribute meaningfully to system architecture and technology choices.
• Adopts a product-oriented approach coupled with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working in the iGaming sector, including non-Shariah-compliant business environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary range of 15,000 to 18,000 AED with additional performance-based annual bonuses.
