Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a Haystack partner for a Software Engineer role focused on developing cutting-edge machine vision software tailored for industrial uses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced machine vision solutions using object-oriented C++ programming in 2D and 3D image processing domains.
• Lead the creation of new software products from initial technical research through to implementation, rigorous testing, and integration into existing systems.
• Refine and improve current machine vision algorithms for enhanced performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate software design and system interfaces effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Multiple years of professional software development experience primarily using C++ on Windows platforms.
• Proven expertise in industrial 2D and 3D image processing and computer vision techniques.
• Strong foundations in mathematics coupled with exceptional analytical skills.
• A degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applications in machine vision is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Highly organized, analytical, and solution-focused approach to tasks.
