Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices using Golang within a cloud-native setting.
• Create and enhance RESTful APIs and gRPC services to facilitate communication between microservices.
• Apply best practices in microservices design and deployment to maximize scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement event-driven architectures and real-time messaging using Kafka.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and backend teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering APIs, microservice architecture, and deployment processes.
• Design and maintain relational databases using MySQL, focusing on schema design and performance optimization.
• Manage NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DocumentDB for handling unstructured or semi-structured data, including query optimization.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience developing backend applications with Go.
• Proven ability to design and implement microservices architectures.
• Experience using containerization tools such as Docker.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL database design, schema structuring, query tuning, and performance enhancement.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or AWS DocumentDB.
• Understanding of distributed system principles to ensure scalability and fault tolerance.
• Strong analytical aptitude to resolve complex database challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a keen interest in continuous learning and teamwork.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
